About Department of
M.Sc. (Chemistry)
The Post Graduate Department of Chemistry was established in 2012 with an intake of 20 students and has grown immensely during the last one decade. Presently, the department is running two M.Sc. Courses; M.Sc. in Organic and Analytical Chemistry (with a combined intake of about 66 students per year. Various academic and research activities are conducted at department for all round development of students. Along with academic and research skill-based courses are conducted at the department. The number of Alumni of the department has crossed over 200 as on today. Students are engaged in research projects. The faculty members are actively engaged in research in Frontier Areas of Chemistry and Interdisciplinary Areas.
